Pesto Flatbread

What you will need

Extra Virgin Olive Oil
Balsamic Glaze

Pesto

Grape Tomatoes

Assorted Bell Peppers
Mushrooms
Oregano 
Italian Parsley 
Basil

Small Mixing Bowl
Parchment Paper or Foil Sheet

Recipe

Pizza Crust 
Pesto 
Shredded Mozzarella Cheese 
Grape Tomatoes 
Green and Yellow Zucchini Squash
Assorted Bell Peppers
Mushroom 
Oregano 
Italian Parsley 
Basil

Instructions

Before you begin

Preheat oven to 550 degrees (or as hot as it goes.)

Prepare Pizza & Flatbread Dough. 

To prepare, slice the following and set aside

Grape Tomatoes 
Bell Peppers (any assortment of colors. I prefer Yellow, Orange, and Red for this Pizza.)
Mushrooms
Oregano
Italian Parsley
Basil

Dice the Green and Yellow Zucchini Squash into small cubes (the smaller the better.) 

Grab all of your ingredients 

To assemble

Place parchment paper or foil on top of your baking sheet. 

Lay the crust on top. 

Add an even layer of Pesto over the crust. Less is more, but make sure you cover the entire crust. 

Begin laying the desired amount of each topping

Shredded Mozzarella Cheese
Diced Green and Yellow Zucchini Squash
Sliced Bell Peppers
Sliced Grape Tomatoes
Sliced Mushrooms

Make sure to distribute the toppings, covering the entire top evenly. 

Lightly Salt and Pepper the entire Pizza.

Place pizza in the oven and bake 

Depending on your crust, this should take ~5 minutes. Cook the pizza until you think it looks best. 

After that, place your pizza on a cutting board, it’s time to garnish! 

Sprinkle the following over the top

Chopped Oregano 
Chopped Italian Parsley
Chopped Basil

Lightly drizzle with Extra Virgin Olive Oil and Balsamic Glaze

Slice and enjoy your masterpiece!
