2 4oz Packages of Fresh Basil
1 Cup Shredded Parmesan
6 Cloves Garlic
4 Tablespoons Lemon Juice
1/2 Cup of Extra Virgin Olive Oil
Instructions
Before you begin
Remove Basil Leaves from Stem and set aside.
Juice Fresh Lemons to produce 4 Tablespoons worth of Juice
In your Food Processor add
2 4oz Packages of Fresh Basil
1 Cup Shredded Parmesan
6 Cloves Garlic
4 Tablespoons Lemon Juice
1/2 Cup of Extra Virgin Olive Oil
Blend for ~1 minute
Check for taste.
If the Pesto Tastes bland, try adding just a pinch of salt.
Blend again for 30 seconds
You’re ready to enjoy your Homemade Pesto!

How long will the Pesto Keep?
Place the leftover Pesto in an airtight container and store it in your refrigerator. The Pesto will last seven days.
Can I freeze Pesto?
If you have a lot of Peso leftover, you can freeze it for later use. I’d recommend putting the Pesto in small jars and freezing them. To thaw Pesto, just set the jar in your refrigerator the night before you want to use it!
