Vegan Macaroni & Cheese

What you will need

Staple Pantry Items 

Dry Elbow Macaroni Noodles

Refrigerator Items

Cashew Creme

Kitchen Equipment 

Small Pot


1 Cup of Dry Elbow Macaroni Noodles
3/4 Cup of Cashew Cream


Add several cups of water to your pot. 

Place the pot of water to your stovetop and set it to high heat. 

Add a tablespoon of Salt. 

Once the water is boiling, add 1 Cup of Dry Elbow Macaroni Noodles. 

Cook until the noodles are al dente. Cooking the noodles should take around 10 minutes, depending on which noodles you use. 

Once cooked, strain them over the sink. 

Add your noodles back into the small pot with 3/4 Cup of Cashew Creme and a pinch of Salt. 

After that, you’re ready to enjoy Vegan Mac & Cheese!

You can add more Cashew Creme or Salt to achieve the flavor you like. If the dish is tasting a little bland, add a pinch more of Salt. 

I love to Garnish this dish with Fresh Lemon Zest and Fresh Italian Parsley. 

Another way to serve this dish is to add the Vegan Mac & Cheese to a Baking Dish. Top with Gluten-Free Bread Crumbs, Crumbled Cashew, Italian Parsley, then bake on 450 for about 5 minutes (until golden brown.) Baking the Mac & Cheese this way will add layers of texture and flavor!

I use Gluten-Free noodles to make this dish Vegan and Gluten-Free. You can too quickly by using your favorite Dry Noodles.
